Oriten Safety & Aviation Data Disclaimer

Last updated: August 14, 2026

Oriten is a product of CHNH, LLC. This disclaimer supplements the Terms & Conditions and applies to all aviation data shown in the App.

Not an official source

Oriten is not an official source of aeronautical information and is not approved, endorsed, or certified by the FAA or any aviation authority. Airspace boundaries, temporary flight restrictions (TFRs), UAS facility map (LAANC) grid ceilings, and related layers are republished from public FAA data for situational awareness only.

Data currency

Aviation data in the App is refreshed on a periodic schedule, not in real time:

No flight authorization

The App does not provide LAANC authorization or any other form of airspace authorization, waiver, or clearance. Grid ceilings shown in the App do not authorize flight at any altitude. Where authorization is required, obtain it through an FAA-approved LAANC provider or the FAA DroneZone before flight.

Weather, thresholds, and records

This disclaimer applies equally to the App’s non-airspace features. Weather forecasts come from third-party providers and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong; confirm conditions on site before flight. The “Weather Check” status reflects only the thresholds you configured, not your equipment’s actual capabilities. Checklists, maintenance records, and service reminders are user-entered tracking tools; they do not establish airworthiness and do not substitute for professional inspection. See Sections 4 and 5 of the Terms & Conditions for the full provisions.

Your obligation

Before every flight, verify current airspace status, TFRs, and NOTAMs through official sources, and comply with all applicable regulations, including 14 CFR Part 107 or the rules applicable to your operation. You, not the App, are responsible for where, when, and how you fly.

If anything in the App disagrees with an official FAA source, the official source is correct.
